Fix Fitbit Sense Stuck in Boot loop Showing Logo Screen

Fitbit Sense Stuck in Boot Loop

If you are a Fitbit Sense user, the chances are that you have had an amazing experience. However, if you are one of the unlucky users who is currently experiencing a boot loop with their Sense device, you are likely feeling frustrated and confused.

This blog post will provide information on what a boot loop is and how to fix it. Additionally, we will provide recommendations to avoid this issue in future. We hope that this article provides some much-needed relief and assistance to those experiencing this frustrating issue.

Reasons for Fitbit Sense Stuck in Boot Loop

  1. Use of third party clock faces
  2. Software update
  3. Firmware update
  4. Software Mismatch

1. Use of third party clock faces

If you’re having trouble with your smartwatch, it may be due to an incompatibility between the watch face and the firmware. The problem usually starts when users add a third-party clock face, but it can also happen with faces from the same manufacturer.

In either case, the cause is typically a mismatch in software versions. The watch face may be outdated or not designed for your specific model of the smartwatch. As a result, it’s important to ensure that any clock faces you install are compatible with your device.

2. Software Update

Updating the software on your smartwatch is important to keep it running smoothly and to take advantage of the latest features. However, if the version of your smartwatch’s software doesn’t match the version of your mobile app, it can cause problems. For example, you may not be able to pair your devices, or you may find that certain features don’t work properly.

To avoid this problem, it’s important to check the version numbers before you update either your smartwatch or your mobile app. That way, you can be sure that they’re compatible with each other and that you won’t run into any conflicts.

3. Firmware Update

A common problem that can occur after updating the firmware on a smartwatch is that the device becomes stuck in a boot loop. This means that the watch continuously restarts itself, never fully booting up. In most cases, this issue can be resolved by reverting to an older firmware version.

However, if the problem persists, it may be caused by a mismatch between the watch’s firmware and the version of the phone’s software. In this case, it is necessary to update both the watch and the phone to compatible versions. Only then will the device be able to boot up properly.

4. Software Mismatch

One of the most frustrating things that can happen with wearable technology is when the software on your phone and the software on your smartwatch get out of sync. This can cause a number of problems, including a “stuck in loop” issue where your watch keeps trying to reconnect to your phone. If you do update your software, be sure also to update your smartwatch’s firmware so that everything stays in sync.

Common Issues:

It is frustrating when you see your Fitbit Sense is stuck in a boot loop showing only the logo screen. Sometimes it keeps restarting with no progress. Only the logo screen is flashing.

I went through the Fitbit Forum and found that many users are having issues with their Fitbit watches getting “stuck.” For some users, they see only the logo screen, and nothing happens for a few hours, even a few days, until the watch restarts.

For some users, they see the logo screen for a few seconds, and the watch keeps restarting without any reason. For some users, they can restart the watch, but nothing happens after the logo screen. In the meantime, if you’re experiencing this problem, you may want to try one of these solutions.

How to Fix Fitbit Sense Stuck On Logo Screen

After doing some research, I have listed 5 possible solutions to get rid of the stuck in a boot loop. Please follow them to fix your stock on the logo screen issue.

  1. Restart your smartwatch
  2. Factory reset
  3. Restart 20 times
  4. Disconnect and reconnect with your phone
Fitbit Sense Restart

Solution 1: Restart Your Smartwatch

If your Fitbit sense is giving you trouble, don’t despair. In many cases, a simple restart will do the trick. Just press and hold the button for 10 seconds. The logo and light will disappear, and the device will restart automatically. This will often solve minor software issues. If you’re lucky and have only a minor problem, a restart may well fix it. Of course, if the problem persists, follow the next steps. But in many cases, a restart is all it takes to get your Fitbit sense up and running again.

Solution 2: Factory Reset

A factory reset is the last resort option for fixing your smartwatch. It essentially resets the watch back to its default state, which can help to fix mismatched settings and bring your watch back to its normal functioning. To initiate a factory reset, simply press and hold the button on your smartwatch for 20 seconds.

The logo will disappear and then reappear, indicating that the reset is complete. This will remove all of your customizations and any other changes you’ve made to the watch, so be sure that you really want to do this before initiating the reset. However, if your smartwatch is having major issues and you’ve tried all other options, a factory reset may be just what you need to get it working again.

Solution 3: Restart 20 times

Recently, a member of the Fitbit forum suggested a new way to restart your device: simply continuing it around 20 times. Surprisingly, this method seems to work for some people. If you are having trouble getting your Fitbit to work properly, it may be worth giving this method a try.

Solution 4: Disconnect and Reconnect with your Phone

If you recently updated your app and found that it is not working properly, there is a quick and easy fix. Simply disconnect and reconnect with your smartwatch. Remove your Fitbit Sense from your App > stop or force stop your Fitbit App > turn off Bluetooth > open your App again and reconnect with your Fitbit Sense. This should solve the problem.

Solution 5: Contact support for replacement

If none of these solutions work, you should contact customer support and ask for a replacement. Some users have reported success in getting a replacement from Fitbit, so you don’t have to be worried about that. If your warranty period is still not passed, you can claim a replacement from Fitbit.

Recommendations

If you’re looking for a way to liven up your Fitbit and avoid clock face boredom, follow this guideline: use only Fitbit clock faces from the official store. That way, you can be sure there won’t be any software conflicts or mismatches since they’re updated regularly.

There are both free and paid options available, so you can choose whichever suits you best. And if you ever do get bored with a particular clock face, it’s easy to switch things up – just head back to the store and try something new. With so many great options available, there’s no need to settle for anything less than the perfect clock face for you.

  1. I allowed my fitbit to completely discharge, then charged it up agin. Since then my fitbit comes on and the logo appears, then makes a sound and turns off. A few seconds later it does the same thing and continues endlessly. It is completely unresponsive. I have tried canceling my iphone app and reopening it, but I have forgotten the original password and there is no way of recovering it. If I try to create a new app under my name, it denies me because another user, (ie me) already owns it. What do I do?

  2. After switching to a new watch face, my display screen stuck in one display – a large font number – and I could not switch to another screen. After reading the suggestions in this thread, I tried the first and simplest: I held the restart button down for more than 10 seconds and my Fitbit rebooted and is now working. Thank you for the suggestion.
